Pennsylvania Supreme Court Agrees To Hear Significant Bad Faith Issue
On April 24, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court accepted the following certified question from the Third Circuit: “Under Pennsylvania law, can an insured tortfeasor assign his or her bad faith claim against an insurer, under 42 Pa.C.S. § 8371, to an injured third party?” Allstate Property & Casualty Insurance Company v.
